Don't Touch That Dial (Short Film)
Directed by Spencer Lucas
"Far past his bedtime, a young boy channel surfing lands on Hector Specter, a public access  midnight horror host. When the boy gets too scared and reaches to change the channel, Hector suddenly speaks to the boy directly from the TV. Hector reveals he has the power to enter other shows, and he enlists the boy to help him wreak havoc on the poor, unsuspecting characters in other television programs. That is, until the two find a way to take this sick game to the next level."  -Mirror Ghost Films
This project was my first time being in the Art Department. I learned how to build stage flats, how to create and design the mise en scene, and how to research and source props and set dressing. I worked with my assistant, Barbara Burgess, who created the final makeup looks.
I used cardboard and paper mache for the dungeon walls. I sculpted the skull bolo tie with Sculpey, sewed the cape by hand,  and sourced most of my set dressing from garage sales, estate sales, and Goodwill.
